"Decorated Farewell"

"tears in the eyes
the love vanished in the sky
happiness or the fear
the emotions felt, I guess, were real
the feelings derived
were somehow rare; maybe
the heart knew
in a few days time
the TWIN soon would fly.
marking the place
the heart would abode
the boundary needed to be known
a place not her own
bidding farewell to the home
that was now disowned
a guest visit
maybe in every few months time
a quick recap of the childhood
left behind.
the marching footsteps
that ensured the exit
those footprints
that ensure the last presence perish!!
a look back on the memories
and leaving behind the stories
to be inked in diary
probably with not so cryptic entries"

The Next Step

Expected & accepted The life lied And reality distracted Leaving protected Family directed. The plea Staying back rejected Starting new Scared too Stepping steps Other side of doorstep The world waited. I hesitated For the final seeing To start believing To live while dreaming To see twin changing The domicile. Wishes, Lucks, Greetings Maybe self failed to share The ongoing changes. The night most feared Bidding farewell While few smiled The world left behind CRIED - Pushkin Channan

Isn't That Weird

"Isn't it weird How can you go from being everything to nothing in the blink of ignored text messages. You can talk for months or even years, about everything & nothing. You can know more about each other than anyone has ever known before. And then one day One of us decides it is enough And then stop replying, And then stop trying, And it's just over. No words to break it off. No heartfelt goodbye's. Just a bunch of broken promises and the stories that will never find their endings. It's just cut off and we go on with our lives. AND NEVER BOTHERED TO LOOK BACK."
