Dear Dad..

To
The Dearest Dad,

Date - 17-03-2016

Dear Dad,

There are so many things I would like to tell you face to face. I either lack the words or fail to find out the time or place. But, in this special letter Dad, you will find, at least in part, the feelings that the passing years have left in my heart. The memories of childhood days and all that you have done to make our home happy, and growing up such a fun.

I can still recall the walks we took, the games we played; those confidential chats we had while resting in the shade. This letter comes to thank you Dad, for needed words of praise; the counsel and the guidance, too, that shaped my growing up days. No words of mine can tell you, Dad, the things I really felt, but you must know my love for you is everlasting, warm and real.

You made my world a better place and, through the coming years, I will keep these precious memories as cherished souvenirs.

Regards,
Your Son

The Next Step

Expected & accepted The life lied And reality distracted Leaving protected Family directed. The plea Staying back rejected Starting new Scared too Stepping steps Other side of doorstep The world waited. I hesitated For the final seeing To start believing To live while dreaming To see twin changing The domicile. Wishes, Lucks, Greetings Maybe self failed to share The ongoing changes. The night most feared Bidding farewell While few smiled The world left behind CRIED - Pushkin Channan

Isn't That Weird

"Isn't it weird How can you go from being everything to nothing in the blink of ignored text messages. You can talk for months or even years, about everything & nothing. You can know more about each other than anyone has ever known before. And then one day One of us decides it is enough And then stop replying, And then stop trying, And it's just over. No words to break it off. No heartfelt goodbye's. Just a bunch of broken promises and the stories that will never find their endings. It's just cut off and we go on with our lives. AND NEVER BOTHERED TO LOOK BACK."

Thank you!! Dear Night

When wanted to fly  As a kite Was rescued by you Dear night. Saw self being grounded For the very first The mob surrounded The eyes, the heart Depicted love The hatred sank At the river's bank. The pair gazed Searched the ones Who raised The childhood days Those unasked praise The never cursed delays The unmasked indentity The fake enmity. Long lost Additional cost The life bossed The game - Fair unfair The life turned from no-where No more try Bid good-byes Until The next hey With promised love  The life got aired right above. - Pushkin Channan
